This Morning viewers claim technical glitch during discussion on Prince Harry’s rumoured girlfriend was ‘down to the Royal family’ in bizarre conspiracy theory
Phillip Schofield was forced to apologise when a Loose Women promo cut off their discussion - and fans have a very ridiculous theory to explain it
THIS Morning viewers have claimed a sudden technical glitch during a discussion about Prince Harry's rumoured girlfriend was 'down to the Royal family' in a bizarre conspiracy theory.
Host Phillip Schofield was forced to apologise when a Loose Women promo cut off their discussion today on American actress Meghan Markle , who has recently been linked to the Prince.
As they joined in the worldwide debate, amid claims the Prince is ready to settle down with the Suits beauty, a slide promoting Loose Women took over the screen - cutting the segment off.
Moments later, an ITV branded card then flashed up, showing the phrase Data Centre Switch.
While it was no doubt just very unfortunate timing, fans couldn't help airing some very bizarre opinions on Twitter - with some even claiming it was all part of some weird Royal conspiracy theory.
One viewer wrote: "Haha! Clearly the Royals shut down @ITV #ThisMorning when talking about Harry and Meghan. #censorship."
Erm?
While another added: "#ThisMorning technical difficulties while talking about the royals ? Hmm suspicious …"
And one even wrote: "That’s the power of the Royals… Cutting @thismorning off while that journo is talking about Harry’s new babe! #thismorning."
With one adding: "So weird that @thismorning just cut out mid chat bout Royal Privacy CONSPIRACY".
While the show cut to an ad break shortly after the glitch, Phillip apologised when they returned, saying: "For about four seconds you saw the Loose Women studio, we don’t know how that happened.
“A little preview of what you’ll see later!”
And Holly added: "Sorry about that!"
