Towie’s Megan McKenna KISSES Pete Wicks as his efforts to win her back following sexting scandal pay off

MEGAN McKenna has all but confirmed she is back with Pete Wicks – as she was spotted passionately kissing him during a fireworks display in Essex.

The couple – who split back in September after The Sun Online revealed Pete had been sexting his ex - snuck off to enjoy some alone time.

Pete – who has spent the last month begging for forgiveness – could be seen giving Megan a pile of gifts despite the fact it was his birthday before wrapping his arm around her back and moving in for the kiss.

And it looks like heartbroken Megan has finally thawed to Pete’s apologies as she lent in to enjoy a intimate kiss with him.

The smooch comes after we revealed the tattooed hunk had shown his dedication to the brunette by getting the letter M tattooed onto the palm of his hand.

Pete’s new tattoo is the latest in a line of public declarations he’s made to Megan in the wake of the sexting scandal that saw her sensationally dump him on the ITVBE show.

At the time, The Sun Online revealed the extent of Pete’s betrayal which left Megan heartbroken and unable to sleep.

Since then, Pete has tried everything to win her back – from meeting her parents for a heart to heart to this new tattoo – but nothing has worked.

Although in recent days Megan appeared to be close to taking Pete back, in an emotional interview on Monday he told The Sun Online the pair were far from reconciliation.

Pete said: “We aren’t back together – that’s not the case.

“I’m doing everything I can to get her back, of course, but it’s going to take a lot of time to get Megan to trust me again.

“I don’t know if she ever will.

“I hope eventually she’ll feel the same as me but it’s still so up and down and she’s told me she’s still so confused.”
