Helen Flanagan reveals she’s had a secret boob job in a bid to feel ‘more confident’

HELEN Flanagan confessed she was "nervous" as she admitted to fans she has had a boob job.

The former Coronation Street star, 32, took to her Instagram page sporting a lime green hoodie as she informed her followers she was currently "in recovery."

Mum of three Helen split with fiance Scott Sinclair earlier this year.

She told how the surgery, at Manchester's Pall Mall clinic, was in a bid to feel "more confident" after going from an E-Cup to a B-Cup, and claiming her boobs were "saggy."

The Rosie Webster actress candidly told her Instagram Stories: "Hi, so I wanted to pop on here. I'm actually really nervous about sharing this actually but I've had a boob job.

"I had it done on Thursday. Yeah, so I'm in recovery at the moment. I have been really nervous about sharing this, because you always get some, like, not very nice comments or what have you.

"It's just something that I did for myself, I really wanted to do it for my confidence. I have been really nervous about sharing this. Obviously I very much am for body confidence, and very much for supporting other women, but supporting women in all choices that they decided to do.

"I think if something really is bothering you, then I think, you know, it's a good thing to do something about it.

"I'm on day two of recovery, I've literally… my friend just helped me wash my hair and dry it because you can't shower properly, you have to keep the wounds dry, I have this kind of like, support bra on, and you can't get it wet.

'So these Stories are probably going to be quite long so you might want to get yourself comfy, but I'm just going to talk about the whole thing, really."

Helen told how she "never thought" she would have a boob job due to her previous "busty" figure.

She was eager to stress she had "loved" all her breastfeeding journeys with her kids but that the three maternity journeys had changed her chest.

Helen told fans: "There's no nicer way to say it but they just became rally saggy.

"It just affected my confidence."

She admitted she "really noticed" the change after her second child Delilah was born, and added: "I remember being in the shower and thinking 'oh wow what is this?'"

After realising she wanted another baby, she postponed the operation until baby Charlie was born.

The soap favourite finished off her message by saying her kids were staying at ex partner Scott's, before admitting her heartbreak at the fact she "won't be able to cuddle them for a while" due to her recovery.

She then advised fans she would keep them in the loop on her progress.
