Charlotte Crosby and Sophie Kasaei strip to bikinis and life-jackets to go kayaking in Mexico

The girls made orange the new black

CHARLOTTE Crosby and Sophie Kasai took a break from going on the lash for the more wholesome activity of kayaking while on holiday in Mexico.

The girls, both 26, were seen donning large orange life jackets over their bikinis as they made their way with the oars along the Cancun beach, before using the help of an overhead rope to help them into the water.

Once in the kayak, Charlotte led the way at the front, although it looks like Sophie had to put more work in after Charlotte seemed more distracted by her phone than actually doing any rowing.

She later posed for pictures while in the water and on the rocks, as Sophie stayed afloat in the kayak to take the snaps.

While Charlotte clearly enjoyed the luxury of her Mexican getaway, on Sunday she fooled her Twitter followers into believing she’d soon be slumming it on the jungle.

Her fans were left outraged after she made a “joke” announcement that she’s appearing on the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.

Former Geordie Shore star Charlotte was hotly tipped to win the ITV reality show and fans were overjoyed when they thought she was heading into the jungle.

She tweeted: “Yep I am going on @imacelebrity I can’t wait 🐛🦂🕷🐞🐍 so excited man.”

However, shortly afterwards she took to her Snapchat account to reveal it was all a joke.

She said: “I’m hungover and I thought it would be funny cos everyone is saying I’m going into the jungle to say I am.

“But the reality is, I’m not.

“I’m sick of everyone asking us about it and saying I’m lying.”

Charlotte has previously said she’d “love” to go to the jungle for the ITV show

Having won Celebrity Big Brother and making her name going out on the ‘toon, Charlotte is no stranger to reality TV shows and previously admitted she would love to head into the jungle.

Speaking on This Morning, she said she’d love to do the show before she settles down.

She said: ““I think I’m going to calm down and become more family-friendly when I’m 28 – or 28-and-a-half.

“I did Celebrity Big Brother and I’d really love to go into the jungle now – but I don’t think they’d have us.

“Apparently it’s because we’re not a very family-friendly show. But I know lots of families who watch our show.”
