Couple looked radiant in co-coordinating jewel-coloured outfits
MARK Wright looked like the cat who had got the cream as he posed next to stunning wife Michelle Keegan at the Pride of Britain Awards.
The couple took to the red carpet at the annual event in London on Monday night, and looked happier than ever as they posed hand in hand for the waiting photographers.
The pair – who tied the knot in May last year – even opted for co-ordinating jewel coloured outfits, with Michelle, 29, opting for a stunning sapphire blue silk gown while Mark chose an amethyst coloured velvet jacket.
The former Coronation Street actress showed off her stunning figure in the floor length gown, which featured a side slit and short train detail at the back.
With her brunette locks loose around her shoulders, the star looked happy and relaxed while showing off her golden tan from the couple’s recent holiday to Oman and Dubai.
Meanwhile Mark looked as dapper as ever in his dickie bow and white shirt, sporting a hint of sexy stubble on his face.
Writing in her latest blog for , Michelle revealed how the couple flew to Oman to surprise one of her school friends who recently got engaged.
She wrote: “Mark and I have been over in Oman and Dubai, having some much needed rest and relaxation, catching up with friends and taking full advantage of the glorious weather in the UAE.
“One of my old school friends – Hayley, lives out there as a primary school teacher.
“Hayley is engaged to a lovely guy called Dan and they are due to tie the knot in March 2017 (hurray!).
“I see her when she visits England, and we have met up in Dubai a few times over the years, but this has been the first time I have visited her.”
The couple’s trip comes after they spent much of the summer apart while Michelle filmed her next project, Tina and Bobby.
The pair faced continued speculation that their marriage was on the rocks, but since the actress’ schedule has eased, they have been able to spend more quality time together, with both star’s posting loved up snaps from their trip.
