Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman reveals why people aren’t voting for Daisy Lowe despite her scoring higher than Ed Balls
The model has been in the bottom two for two weeks running
STRICTLY Come Dancing head judge Len Goodman has opened up about why he believes Daisy Lowe has faced the dance off twice.
The model - daughter of Gavin Rossdale and Pearl Lowe – has had to dance for survival over the last two weeks despite scoring higher in the leader board than other contestants such as Ed Balls.
The 72-year-old, who admitted he was baffled by her being overlooked, believes fans simply aren't phoning in for her because they assume she's already safe from the boot.
Speaking on Chris Evans' BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show on Monday, he said when asked why the 27-year-old star keeps ending up in the bottom two: "I can only imagine - because she's a terrific dancer, she's got a lovely personality and she's such a charming, lovely person.
“The only thing I can think of is that people, when they vote, may see Daisy - she's there, she's in fourth place, she's in a good position, they may think 'well, she's safe.'

“And then they vote for somebody, you know, down the line who they hope will come back and poor Daisy gets overlooked. That's the only thing I can imagine because it's nothing to do with her dancing."
Daisy - who has found herself at the bottom of the leader two weeks in a row - was forced to dance against Anastacia in Sunday night's results show, despite impressing the audience with her Paso Doble in the main show on Saturday.
Viewers were left infuriated by the decision - with some even suggesting the public no longer get a vote.
One Strictly Come Dancing fan furiously tweeted: “People need to stop wasting votes on Ed Balls!!”
Another commented: "I'm sorry but what the heck is the British public doing voting Ed Balls to stay in @bbcstrictly #Strictly #britainslostitsmind".
A viewer raged: "Oh come off it!!! WHO is voting for Ed Balls! No way Daisy should be in dance off! #Strictly #scd".
Fortunately she was sent through to the next round when judges Len, Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Darcey Bussell chose to send home the I'm Outta Love hitmaker.
