What is Shudder?
A streaming service for true horror fans, Shudder offers an large catalogue of horror films.
The service has been established in the US for a while, but it only launched in the UK and Ireland last autumn.
From classic horror to modern zombie flicks, the service promises it has something for everyone.
For the true horror buff, the films are categorised into a myriad of themes such as, Psychos and Madmen, Identity Crises, Haunted Habitations, Hexes and Ooohs! and Possessions: The Devil Made Me Do It!

How can I watch the new horror channel?
The new horror channel is a streaming service, like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video.
The subscription currently costs £4.99 a month, or £49.99 for an annual membership.

The site also offers a unique 'Shudder.tv' option, which allows anyone—even non-members—to simply tune into an endless stream of horror films, just like TV.
The site does tell you the title of the movie playing, but you never know when a movie is going to start or end, and you don’t know what’s coming next.
When is Ghostwatch on?
Back in 1992 a spoof ghost documentary filmed by the BBC shocked and terrified the nation.
Starring Michael Parkinson, the show saw TV reporter Sarah Greene investigate a haunted house in the classic British “documentary”.
It was originally aired on Halloween in 1992 and saw experts in the studio discuss supernatural phenomena as Sarah waited patiently for proof of a poltergeist whose bad behaviour grew bolder throughout the evening.
With no warning it was a hoax or scripted at all the show freaked out gullible viewers leading to controversy, lawsuits and a devoted cult following who continue to search the doc for hidden glimpses of the ghoul.
