A WOMAN was today slammed on This Morning and told it was like “child abuse” when she put fake tan on her child
Mum-of-two Sammy was on the show to talk about the lengths she goes to to make sure her little girl looks her best at beauty pageants.
While on the show she talked about only using “natural products” on her child, and that everything “washed off.”
She also insisted that she would never do anything to harm her little girl, and would never put any fake tan on the child’s face.
But viewers still weren’t happy with some insisting it was still wrong.
One tweeted: “#ThisMorning child abuse seriously I find this child abuse...”
Another said: "Fake tanning three year-olds and entering them into pageants is child abuse. Not surprised that 40% have psychological issues. #ThisMorning"
This one tweeted: "There's a difference between playing make up at home and parading them around in adult themes #gross #ThisMorning"
One said: "The only make up I think is acceptable for a child is facepaint #ThisMorning"
However some viewers did say it was fine, with one tweeting: It's all about the child's happiness. If she not being forced into it then whats the big deal. #ThisMorning”
Another said: “#ThisMorning people don't criticise when they are dressing their kids up for Halloween, so why the debate on pageants? #confused”
