'WHO IS VOTING FOR HIM?!'

Strictly viewers infuriated as Ed Balls sails through while Daisy Lowe lands in the Dance Off second week in a row

Some have even suggested that the public shouldn't have a vote

STRICTLY Come Dancing viewers were left infuriated this evening after Ed Balls sailed through to next week - while Daisy Lowe and her partner Aljaž Skorjanec saw themselves in the Dance Off for the second week in a row.

Some fans have even suggested that the public should no longer be able to have a vote.

While Ed and Katya's hilariously wacky cha cha to 'Love Potion No. 9’ received a standing ovation from the audience, and Bruno branding it a "triumph", the pair saw themselves sitting near the bottom of the leaderboard with 26.

Daisy and Aljaž's passionate paso doble to ‘Please Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’, on the other hand, had received an impressive 33 after an 8 and three 9s.

The judges had praised their performance, with Bruno Tonioli complimenting it and saying that it had the “flavour of Spain”.

However the pair once again found themselves in the bottom two and had to dance off against Anastacia and Brendan.

While Daisy and Aljaž were saved by the judges, fans of the show were left fuming that Ed and Katya weren't in their place.

One Strictly Come Dancing fan furiously tweeted: "People need to stop wasting votes on Ed Balls!!"

Another commented: "I'm sorry but what the heck is the British public doing voting Ed Balls to stay in @bbcstrictly #Strictly #britainslostitsmind".

A viewer raged: "Oh come off it!!! WHO is voting for Ed Balls! No way Daisy should be in dance off! #Strictly #scd";.

One tweeted: "WHO is voting Ed Balls in over Daisy?! Maniacs."

Another ranted: "It is SO wrong that Daisy and Aljaž are in the bottom 2 again!! And Ed Balls has got away with it again?! Such a joke."

Other viewers suggested that Strictly would be better if there were no public vote at all.

One tweeted: "Astonishing. There's a reason the British public shouldn't have a vote. Ed Balls still in? C**p."

But other viewers were literally jumping for joy after hearing that the awkward ex-MP was through.

One tweeted: "#Strictly does strange things. At the name @edballs, I'm jumping around the living room shouting YES! #TeamEd #EdtoWin".

And some could help speculate who was voting for him.

Labour MP Jess Phillips joked: "I suspect Michael Gove voted for @edballs a thousand times. We'll done Ed."
