Inside Lottie Moss’ bitter relationship with supermodel sis Kate and niece Lila – and why she really joined OnlyFans
WHEN it comes to making it in the fashion world, having Kate expectations can make all the difference.
Just ask Lottie and Lila Moss.
While Lila is the apple of her mother’s eye and now an up-and-coming catwalk star, Kate’s half-sister Lottie scrapes a living flogging nudes on OnlyFans and the pair have had their share of bust-ups.
Now Lottie, 24, who once dreamed of being a top model herself, has blamed her stalled career on a lack of support from her hugely influencial big sister.
In a scathing Instagram post, she wrote: ‘I understand that I have come from a very privileged position being the sister of someone very famous.
"But believe it or not, that person never really supported me.”

Lottie, who has the same dad as Kate, added that she was “pretty much on my own” when navigating the “toxic industry” of fashion.
It is the latest salvo in a simmering feud within the Moss clan, which is said to have started in the first Covid lockdown when they clashed while isolating together.
Since then, Lottie has fallen from grace, checking into an Arizona rehab clinic in February for substance abuse and selling fully nude pictures on OnlyFan
Meanwhile Lila, 20, is making a name for herself in the world of high fashion after proving a hit with designers Versace, Fendi and Marc Jacobs.

She is said to want nothing to do with her aunt Lottie, who once described her as “more like a little sister” than a niece.
So where did it all go wrong on planet Moss – and did Kate’s blessing really make a difference between triumph and disaster?

BACK TO THE START
SHE may have done it accidentally, but Kate definitely gave Lottie her big break – when she chose her to be a bridesmaid.
Then just 13, angel-faced Lottie stole the show when Kate married rocker Jamie Hince in 2011, sparking headlines around the world.
“It was so funny,” Lottie recalled. “My mum was like, ‘Your sister is going to be so p***ed.
"No one noticed her, everyone was like, ‘Who’s that?’.”
Modelling scout Sarah Doukas, of agency Storm, who famously spotted Kate more than a decade earlier, signed her up and work started rolling in.
Lottie reckons her family only let her do it because Kate gave the deal the nod.
She said: “Kate knew Sarah and my dad trusted her.”
But Kate seems to have taken a different stance with daughter Lila, issuing her with words of caution.
“My mum put me off,” Lila told Vogue.
“She was like, ‘If you want to, you can, but I don’t recommend it’.”
Kate made sure she signed up her daughter to her own modelling agency, founded in 2016, so she could keep an eye on her.
BEING KATE MOSS PART 2
LOTTIE claimed modelling agencies wanted her to be “Kate Moss part two”.
And she said she was told “to lose weight” to mimic her sibling’s famous “heroin chic” look.
She told the Call Her Daddy podcast that, at 18, she was instructed to get to a “specific waist size” so ate just one piece of toast a day to achieve it.
Lottie also claimed she was plied with booze and drugs, and alleged she was forced to work against her will.
She said: “I would show up and I didn’t want to do it. I’d be crying and they said, ‘We’ll get you some drugs and you can have a drink – then you’ll be fine’.
“It was, ‘You’ll do this whether you’re sober or not. It’s going to happen.’”
Veteran Kate is certainly no stranger to the pressures of modelling, saying there is no support “mentally” for models.
To protect her daughter, Kate drilled into her the importance of saying no.
“Mum asked me to do some modelling with her when I was 13,” Lila said.
“I agreed, but then I was like, ‘I can’t do it!’ I was so shy and I had braces.”
UPMARKET VS DOWNMARKET
BY 19, Lottie had modelled for Chanel and Topshop, landed her first Vogue magazine cover and travelled the world.
But four years later, in the summer of 2021, she started posting pictures on OnlyFans – claiming to make more than £70,000 a month with snaps she sold for as little as £3 a go.
Over the years, Kate has reportedly “fallen in and out of sympathy” with Lottie, but was “mortified” after seeing topless pictures online.
It was a career-ending move for anyone wanting to be taken seriously in fashion and Lottie was dropped by Storm.
“Kate has her head in her hands about Lottie,” a family source said.
In contrast, Lila has been selective about her own career, focusing on luxury brands.
Her debut campaign was with Marc Jacobs, a family friend, followed by catwalks for Miu Miu and Versace.
One source says Lila saw the damage Lottie could do to her reputation, so refused to be pictured with her.
They said: “Lila helped Lottie dye her hair pink, but refused to be in any pictures on Instagram with her."
LOCKDOWN... PERSONALITY CLASH
WHILE there is a 24-year age gap between Kate and Lottie, the sisters were once close.
Lottie recalled: “Kate would always dress me up in her clothes . . . all these glittery things.”
And when Lila was little, she and Lottie used to play Sylvanian Families together.
But it all went wrong when Kate invited Lottie to isolate with her and Lila at her Gloucestershire mansion during the Covid lockdown.
Lottie was meant to be in America, but found herself unable to travel when her passport was stolen while she kissed a fellow partygoer at a London club. She turned to her big sister for help.
But it seems the women clashed while sharing close quarters – and now-sober Kate eventually threw Lottie out after getting tired of her wild ways.
A source said: “It isn’t easy for Kate to be around people who are drinking.
“Lottie left in a foul mood and I’m told she left two bottles of Kate’s favourite wine in the fridge, which was interpreted as a ‘f*** you’ gesture.”
WILD CHILD VS SQUEAKY CLEAN
ONCE dubbed “cocaine Kate” and “The Tank” for her hard partying, she went sober four years ago and ditched some of the wilder members of her crowd.
But Lila says Kate is so sensible these days that she is “old and boring”.
In contrast, Lottie has openly admitted to having a wild lifestyle involving alcohol and drugs – saying in 2020 that she had “numbed” herself “with substances”.
Along with a crowd of influencer and Made In Chelsea pals, Lottie is a staunch member of the London party scene – even reportedly breaking lockdown rules for a boozy bash.
When she checked into rehab earlier this year, Lottie mimed along to a TikTok video, inset, saying that she has “a really bad addiction to coke”.
But Lila seems to have taken a more sensible path.
Rarely seen out partying – unless it’s rubbing shoulders with fashion’s elite at glamorous industry parties – she is said to disapprove of Lottie’s friends.
A source said: “Lottie had been in Los Angeles, running with a fast crowd, and Lila was not into it at all.”
And Lila herself told Vogue that she had a very down-to-earth goal.
“I’d like to learn how to knit,” she said. “I really want to be good at making my own clothes. I think that’s so cool.”
FITTING IN VS BEING DIFFERENT
THRUST into the spotlight at a young age, Lottie says she quickly developed insecurities about her body.
And that meant getting a boob job as a 19-year-old.
She said: “With boobs, my mum always knew that I felt uncomfortable and so it was very easy to say I was going to get them done.”
Lottie has also experimented with tattoos, the most recent of which is on her face.
She got the word “lover” inked on her left cheekbone during a night of boozing.
“We’re going to learn to love it, the world will learn to love it and my mum will learn to love it,” she said.
Lila, who is celebrated for her natural beauty, has made a virtue of embracing her differences instead.
In 2021, she walked the Fendi-Versace catwalk show in a swimsuit that showed off her Omnipod insulin pump – which she has also proudly displayed in a number of photoshoots.
She said: “I think not many people know that I have diabetes.
“It’s not visible from the outside, so no one would really know just by looking at you.”
SHE’S ALWAYS TRIED TO BE DIFFERENT TO BIG SIS
“IT’S hard when your sister is Kate Moss and being compared to her,” Lottie once said.
But it can also be a blessing when you have the chance to raid her wardrobe.
Lila takes advantage of mum’s celebrated style, mirroring her look on many occasions.
She said: “In the last three or four years, I’ve realised that her style is actually really cool.
"I’m having to admit it now,” she says, laughing.
She steals Kate’s Saint Laurent coats and Chanel 2.55 bags, while Kate swipes her Adidas tracksuits.
But Lottie, who has always been keen to distinguish herself from her high-fashion sister, tries to look as different as possible.
Last year, Lila and Lottie were pictured at the same British Vogue X Self-Portrait event, but in contrasting styles.
