'I'M A FIERY PERSON'

Louisa Johnson won’t tone down her sexy outfits ahead of X Factor performance of her new single on Sunday night

Last year's X Factor winner performed her new single So Good on the live show

LOUISA Johnson may only be eighteen, but she is determined to be the kind of singer that she wants to be.

She has a new edgier sound, some saucier outfits and is loving the direction her career has taken.

She even admitted she hated her X Factor winning single, a cover of Forever Young by Bob Dylan.

The songstress returned to the X Factor stage on Sunday night with the debut performance of her latest single, So Good.

But despite the controversy over Little Mix's outfits after their X Factor performance, Louisa had no plans to tone down her look.

Speaking to she explained: "I'm having a fitting day, there is a theme to the outfit.

"I thought Little Mix’s outfits were fine! They were really fine! They looked sick.

"There have been a few people [who have said things about my stage wear], but coming from the show it’s difficult.

"You are on a TV show, you have to dress a certain way, you’ll get told off if you don’t. Then you come out of it and you want to dress how you want. It’s your personality, I don’t understand it."

Adding: "Everyone goes on about kids being confident with what they wear, young girls and boys, and then they get criticised for being comfortable with their bodies. It's a bit confusing."

Speaking about her single, she continued: "I'm really excited about it, but I’m a little bit nervous … on edge. It's just a lot different to what people would expect from me. It’s a lot darker, edgier.

"It is about going out and having fun, you know you’re not meant to go out on a school night, but you go out anyway. It’s really relatable. My family and my boyfriend all love it.

"A lot of songs are about love and stuff, I wanted to come away from that for the first song and show a different side to me."

Label bosses even had to censor some of her explicit lyrics.

Speaking earlier this week she explained: “There’s definitely a few raunchier songs on the album, but there is stuff for everyone, which I think is really important.

“None of it’s fake, it’s all very much real. It’s all how I feel, how I act and what I do, but I didn’t get to show that side on The X Factor because it’s a competition and I wanted to get through each week.”

The Tears hit-maker isn't afraid to hit back at Twitter trolls and recently slammed those who claimed her boyfriend was punching above his weight by dating her.

"It's just in my nature, it's just the person I am, I've always been like this," she said. "It's not because it upsets me, I am a fiery person, I can’t help it. Obviously it is best to ignore it, though."

The blonde babe has been working hard on her new album in Los Angeles and admitted she'd love to become popular over there.

She added: "It was really strange at first, in LA everything is so far apart, but I liked it," she admitted. "I'd love to make it in the States, it all just depends on the music.

"I just want to make it as perfect as it can be. Like, 'Here you go world, this is my life on a CD'."
