Ferne McCann opens up on ‘incredibly difficult months’ after Sam Faiers voicenote row
FERNE McCann has opened up on "some incredibly difficult months" after a recent trip to India.
The reality star, 32, first came under fire when an anonymous account leaked a series of audio clips.
Following the voice note scandal, the mum-of-one has been taking some time to reflect and went on a getaway with fiancé Lorri Haines earlier this month.
After returning from her trip, Ferne posted a photo of herself meditating in a brown top and leggings against a sunny backdrop.
She told fans: "I've been waking up so early. It must be the jet lag since returning from India.

"To utilise my time this morning I meditated.
"I'll be honest, I haven't meditated at home for a long time. I am so glad I just got on with it this morning.
"Why is it that we often put off most things that benefit us the most? Sometimes you've just got to bit the bullet and 54321 commit to it."
The Essex star said she was feeling "positive" for the first time in months.

Ferne continued: "From my meditation, I really focused on just connecting with the stillness.
"The stillness in my mind and body. It's not always easy but I didn't want to complicate it.
"I felt and feel so calm and for the first time after some incredibly difficult months I felt positive.
"This morning was such a reminder for me to surrender to the here and now.
"Just be and commit a little harder to those moments that you know will benefit you the most.
"This is your sign to do something today that will lighten your mood. Take care of yourself."
Ferne’s trip comes after the star is said to have ‘begged’ Sam Faiers for a ‘secret meeting’ following the voice note controversy.
The reality star first came under fire for the voice notes when an anonymous account leaked a series of audio clips.
A woman could be heard bashing The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers, calling her overweight and a "narcissistic b**ch".
It has now been reported Ferne has been 'bombarding' Sam with messages asking to meet to discuss the damning audio clips.
“Ferne has been desperate for a meeting with Sam and has been bombarding her with messages – as well as speaking to Billie [Sam’s sister]," a source told magazine.
"She and Sam almost came face to face at the Pride of Britain Awards recently, and Ferne thinks it’s only a matter of time before they rub shoulders again.
"She doesn’t want to cause a scene, so has instead been angling for them to have a private chat in secret where Ferne can go over everything that was said and try to straighten things out.”
Ferne was hit with another voice note controversy last month when audio leaked containing vile remarks about acid attack victim Sophie Hall.
She apologised to all the victims of Arthur Collins — her ex-boyfriend and father of her daughter — who is serving 20 years for an attack at a nightclub in London in April 2017.
Sophie, one of 22 people injured, was scarred for life.
Ex-Towie star Ferne said: “In particular I want to apologise to Sophie Hall. I do not believe her to be ugly or stupid. She has been brave beyond belief.”
The scandal erupted last month when the messages appeared on an Instagram account.

In the voice notes, a woman is heard mocking Sophie before adding: “She is one ugly f***ing c***.”
Despite calls for Ferne to be sacked from her ITV job following the scandal, the broadcaster has backed her.
