Stephen Bear has the last laugh after getting mugged for his FAKE designer watch
Celebrity Big Brother champ was attacked by a stranger in a Walthamstow car park - but the robber might be regretting going to the trouble now
CELEBRITY Big Brother champion Stephen Bear was the victim of a mugging on Wednesday night - but all the robbers got away with was a FAKE designer watch.
The 26-year-old was approached by a random stranger in a car park in his home turf of Walthamstow, but he soon realised he wasn't after an autograph, he wanted his flashy timepiece.
A pal of the gobby reality favourite told The Sun online that Bear was heading back to his new Mercedes convertible when he was attacked.
They said: "A man said hello to him and Bear replied as he always does.
"To start with, the conversation was friendly but suddenly, while they were chatting, the man punched Bear in the face and knocked him onto his back.
"Bear was stunned for a few seconds by the blow, but it was long enough for the guy to take his watch and some bracelets from him.
"After kicking him in the head, the man was also able to take his debit cards and his wallet."
Stunned, Bear got to his feet to try and fight back, but the guy ran off before he was able to retrieve his property - including a the replica Hublot.
The watches are regarded as some of the best in the world, and can sell for more than £30,000.
However, despite the violence involved in the incident, Bear - most recently linked to Ex On The Beach co-star Jemma Lucy - isn't planning on informing police, instead trusting the universe to dish out some hard justice.
The pal added: "No police were involved as Bear believes in karma and said that if the guy had just asked him for his watch, he’d have given it to him.

"Sensibly, he avoided a potentially violent situation as he didn't know if the man had a knife.
"Bear just wouldn’t have risked getting seriously hurt, besides he’s not an aggressive person by nature - but will always defend himself when needed.
"Luckily, Bear’s phone wasn’t taken though as that was all he was worried about and his cards were promptly cancelled."
In typical style, Bear isn't letting the attack affect him, and he's been telling pals he plans on popping out today to get a new fake watch ready for the weekend.
Yesterday the handsome roofer posted a tweet making light of the scary ordeal.
It simply read: "Always wear a fake watch."
A rep for Bear has been approached for comment.
