Lorraine - who plays Karen Taylor on the BBC soap - was seen having a jolly time with partner Mark Perez and daughter Nancy, seven.

Wearing a thick winter jacket and matching trousers, she shared photos of her on a sleigh ride and pictures of her playing in the snow.

Lorraine, 46, posted a series of snaps of the snowy mountains and pine trees, along with a sneak peek inside her cosy cabin.

The TV star wrote: "Lapland you’ve been wonderful, such a magical place. #lapland #christmas #Finland #reindeer #husky"

EastEnders fans are usually left stunned by the actress's social media snaps.

Many followers have flocked to comment on Karen's snaps, saying she looks worlds away from her character.

Back in August, Lorraine revealed her glamorous new look after visiting a stylist.

Lorraine could be seen posing make-up free, showing off her incredible complexion as she showed off her long blonde locks.

Wearing a summer printed dress, the actress could be seen holding a thumbs up to the camera as she posed with her hair stylist.

Lorraine - who is normally seen with her hair up in a bun as her character Karen - switched up her look with the long tresses.

"I'm back, thank you!" she wrote to her hairdresser as she thanked her for the new look, which trailed over her chest and shoulders.

She looked worlds away from character Karen, who often looks scruffy in oversized clothes and messy hair in various up-dos.
