Simon Cowell hits the phones for charity along with Ant and Dec and Countdown’s Rachel Riley
SIMON Cowell shows he has a talent for fundraising as he hit the phones for charity.
The BGT and X Factor mogul, 63, looked the part as he closed deals with a broker’s clients.
He was joined by BGT hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 47, for the annual ICAP Charity Day in London.
Countdown maths whiz Rachel Riley, 36, added to the total.
Last month Simon showed off his weight loss as he attended the Variety Club Showbusiness Awards in London.
Earlier this year, Simon opened up about losing three stone after changing up his diet and lifestyle after a horror bike crash.
The TV judge said he didn’t have a gastric band, but instead overhauled his eating habits by cutting out red meat and gluten.
He exclusively told The Sun: “No, I haven’t had a gastric band! Wouldn’t there be scars?
“I did see a doctor in Harley Street. He specialises in a certain kind of diet. He did my blood work and pee and all the rest of it.
“A month later the results came in and his words were, ‘You have the worst diet out of all the clients I have ever seen in my life — you have a schoolboy’s diet from the 1960s.’
“It was just pies. So he sent me a list of things I can’t eat, and that included red meat, dairy, sugar and gluten. And I pretty much stuck to it.”
