The presenter says her hubby says they've been visited by an old lady spirit

And Christine admitted that she has also had some eerie experiences, as her clocks stopped at the exact time her grandparents died.

In an exclusive interview at the Celebrity Haunted Hotel, Christine revealed: “Frank thinks that our flat is haunted. He’s absolutely convinced that it is.

“I know what he means because I’m in it more than he is on my own.

“We are both convinced it’s a large old woman. He’s said it a few times.

“Sometimes it’s when you’re on your own and you start thinking too much but it’s when you look across and you’re just convinced that someone has walked past you.

“We’ve both had moments like that in this flat on our own.

“We have been there for almost a year and a half so we’ve sensed this thing in the flat for quite a while.

“Sometimes you see reflections - there’s like a high gloss painting thing that’s hanging on the wall and there’s been quite a few moments when you see lots of different things moving on it and there’s nothing moving apart from me.”

Despite this, it’s not the first time the telly host has had a close encounter with things that go bump in the night.

She admitted that her family are “steeped in superstition” and are terrified about frogs entering their home of their own accord – as that’s exactly what happened the day her grandparents died.

And they’ve also experienced their clocks stopping at the exact time family members have passed away.

Christine, who is hosting the show alongside The Sun’s film critic JAMIE EAST for the next four nights on W at 9pm, added: “We have had bizarre things happen over the years - we have had relatives pass away and all the clocks stop at the time of the death and that’s actually happened twice.

“I know that happened and that’s a fact - we were all in the room.

“We also believe that if you see a frog coming in that’s a sign of death.

“And that happened twice with my grandparents the night before they died. So that’s another thing my mum absolutely swears by.”
Spooky.
