EastEnders SPOILER – Danny-Boy Hatchard says Whitney and Lee’s wedding might not go ahead!

Considering they’ve gone through hell these past few weeks, it’s asking a lot of Whitney and Lee to crack on with their wedding and put everything behind them.

As if getting married this Friday wasn’t enough, Mick and Linda also lumber them with looking after The Queen Vic. Lee, who still blames himself for giving his fiancée chlamydia, is at his most fragile.

“His head is in complete knots,” says Danny-Boy Hatchard, who plays the groom. “He’s making a lot of big decisions without taking the consequences into consideration. He’s a bit lost at the minute. Losing the baby has really affected him.”

On top of that he’s also worried about the loan he’s taken out, and Johnny tells his brother that he needs to come clean to Whitney.

“Johnny is making Lee think too much about it and that’s not how Lee works,” says Danny-Boy. “He wants to make a decision and worry about the consequences later.”

When the couple’s big day arrives, Lee is still questioning whether he’s good enough for Whit. The question is: will the wedding go ahead?

“I would hope so,” says Danny-Boy, “but it all depends on what other obstacles crop up in the meantime…”

We’re keeping everything crossed.

Meanwhile...

Look out Dot!

We’ve already seen how handy Claudette is with a candelabra (how’s your head, Gavin?), so Dorothy Branning should beware of incurring her wrath over Patrick.

To be fair, this really isn’t Dot’s fault. Apart from her touching heart to heart on the park bench with young Ricky, Dot’s been feeling more and more isolated of late, and Patrick has finally managed to pick up on this.

Mrs B tries to reassure her friend that it’s because she hates Halloween, but Patrick has his doubts. The final straw for Claudette is when he invites Dot for a fry-up in the café while his dolled-up missus is left cooling her high heels in Beales.

Big mistake.

Belinda 4 Mas

For someone who, at times, really doesn’t appear to know up from down when it comes to women, Masood has a pretty high success rate.

Before he set Carmel’s heart a-flutter there was all that on/off cavorting with Jane and now, just when we thought he’d really got something going again with Carmel, he’s suddenly putting a smile on Belinda’s face.

Mas comes to the beauty-salon owner’s rescue when the bailiffs show up at Elysium.

Before you know it, he’s got a business plan in place and the pair are toasting their efforts in The Vic. With all that’s gone on, surely Carmel isn’t about to let her man go without a fight, is she?

Brace yourself, this could get feisty…
