X Factor reject Ryan Ruckledge claims producer LOVER offered him a spot on live shows ‘despite not being able to sing’
X Factor bosses denied the producer offered to 'fix' it for Ryan to make it to the live shows
X FACTOR fix claims went into overdrive after Big Brother star Ryan Ruckledge claimed a producer he was dating offered him a spot on the live shows.
Ryan was axed from the ITV reality show after a disastrous performance at the boot camp stage of the competition last year.
The reality star was kicked off the show after reportedly getting drunk on vodka and jumping into the pool – leaving Simon to brand him “a horror of a human being”.
However, the 24-year-old claimed his lack of vocal skills didn't matter as his producer lover told him he could make sure he got through.
Ryan told : "I was dating one of the producers for the show which no-one knew and I was told that he would be able to get me far in the competition even though I couldn’t sing.
“He begged me to be with him and told me he would get me to the lives because they have an input on what acts go through to what stage.”
However, X Factor bosses have hit back at his claims and strongly denied his suggestion that the show is "fixed".
A spokeswoman said: "Acts are chosen on the merit of their audition in front of the judges and we don’t believe there is any substance to these claims.”
This isn't the first time Ryan has slammed the show as he recently claimed that X Factor producers “egged him on” to drink heavily in order to provide entertainment on the ITV show.
He told : “The producers knew what they were doing putting me through, they knew I couldn’t sing and they knew I knew I couldn’t sing!
“It’s more like applying for a part in Hollyoaks than it is going on a singing competition.”
He added: "A camera crew was following me from the pool, dripping wet, p***ed out of my brains, falling into bushes all the way back to the hotel. They were egging me on to do all sorts!"
Ryan also insisted that he only auditioned for the show for "a bit of a laugh" because he knew his lack of talent.
The show was hit with further 'fix' claims this week after the X Factor jukebox - which picks the following week's theme - landed on Fright Night for this weekend, which also happens to be Halloween.
However, Xtra Factor host Rylan Clark-Neal revealed a top producer tried to blow on the juke box wheel to stop it landing on ‘Fright Night’ as they knew they'd be hit with 'fix' claims.
Speaking on This Morning, The Xtra Factor host was quick to shut down the rumours, admitting producers were desperate to stop it happening.
Rylan said: “It’s not fixed!
