Petition to ban Katie Price from owning animals soars over 25k signatures as another dog dies in her care
A PETITION calling for Katie Price to be banned from owning pets has rocketed past 25,000 signatures after another dog died in her care.
Animal lovers have kick-started the historic petition back into action following the death of her cream Pomeranian called Sharon.
The dog was run over after bounding through an open gate and straight onto a busy road.
Sharon is the sixth known animal in Katie's care to pass away.
The string of deaths began in 2017 and includes a horse and even a chameleon.
calls on the RSPCA and PETA to stop Katie from owning pets and has now been updated in the wake of Sharon's fatal accident.

Titled 'Ban Katie Price from buying any more animals' was originally created several years ago.
Following news of Sharon's death, the creator wrote: "A puppy has died in the last 24 hours in Katie prices care she bought this puppy for her 13 year old child 3 weeks ago. Which was killed in a accident no one witnessed.
"In the last 5 years more animals have died from lack of care. Horses. dogs.cats lizards hedgehogs. This isn't a single family tragedy. It's a common thing in Katie price home [SIC]."
At the time of publishing, it had received a flurry of new signatures and had almost hit 26,000.
The Sun approached Katie for comment over Sharon's demise.
Katie's pets began dying in unfortunate circumstances five years ago.
In 2017, one of her horses perished after being struck by a motor vehicle.
A year later, delivery driver hit her Alsatian, Queenie. A chameleon called Marvin died of a “broken heart” the same year when her kids, Princess and Junior, went to stay with her ex Peter Andre.
In 2020 a second Alsatian, Sparkle, was hit by a car. Months later, French Bulldog Rolo suffocated.
The family’s care worker for her eldest son Harvey reportedly sat on the pup and trapped it after it dozed off under a chair.
Earlier this month, Katie "lost" her pet chihuahua Captain while staying in millionaires' playground Sandbanks in Dorset.
After eight agonising hours, Katie got a call that Captain had been found safe and well.
The source told The Sun Online that a stranger had discovered Captain running loose so took him to a local vets.
After his microchip was scanned, the breeder was contacted and they got in touch with Katie.
Sharon, meanwhile, died last week after she was knocked over on a busy A road in West Sussex.
The driver picked the Pomeranian off the A24 and took her to Arun Vets in Pulborough, who confirmed the death.
A source close to Katie said it was “rotten luck” that Sharon was hit and Katie was “in bits”.
