Kelle Bryan is a singer and actress born on March 12, 1975, in Plaistow, London.

She joined Italia Conti Academy stage school at the age of 11 - where she trained in performing arts and qualified as a dance teacher.

Kéllé initially aimed on staying in the music industry and had even begun work on a solo album before she was diagnosed with lupus in 1998.

Lupus is an autoimmune disease which causes the body to mistakenly attack the body's healthy cells.

By 2014 Bryan began to experience heavy symptoms of her lupus including hair loss, problems with her hearing and sight, and arthritis.

She was even unable to speak and struggled with basic movement.

But the good news is, for the past eight years Kéllé has been having regular infusions to treat her disease and test results show that her health has been improving.

What TV shows has Kelle been in?

In 1992, Kéllé appeared in ITV's The Bill and played Debbie in BBC's EastEnders.

Kéllé joined the cast of the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks in September 2018, portraying the role of Martine Deveraux.

But after four years on the show, she announced her exit from the soap on June 3, 2022, with her final scenes airing that same day.

In May 2019, she joined the Loose Women panel.

Is Kelle married and does she have children?

Kelle tied the knot with Jay Gudgeon in 2010.

Bryan recalled a funny story of when their honeymoon was gatecrashed by a hippo.
