Scotty T claims to have contacted police amid allegations he was threatened by club owner after turning up late for a personal appearance
Geordie Shore star reveals he has reported the incident after clashing with boss and bouncers at a Lancashire nightclub
SCOTTY T has declared that he has contacted police after he was allegedly threatened by a nightclub owner in a dramatic bust-up after he was late for a personal appearance.
The Geordie Shore star claims he was embroiled in a vicious spat with a venue boss and bouncers in Lancashire after heavy traffic led to him missing the start of an event there.
Scotty, real name Scott Timlin, has released a statement to clarify the dramatic clash on Thursday night at The Loft in Ormskirk, where was was hired to make a personal appearance.
The TV star, 28, alleges he and his tour manager were "screamed at" and threatened, and he feared for his safety.
He has apologised to fans for leaving the event early, and confirmed the matter is now in the hands of the police.
In a post on Twitter, he wrote: "For everyone asking why I was only at the loft in Ormskirk for 30 minutes on Thursday please read below."
He then added in a lengthy statement: "Me and my tour manager were stuck in ridiculous traffic on the way from London, we got to the venue at 1.20 and tired to do as many pictures as possible in the limited time.
"During this time the venue owner Carl physically threatened my tour manager whilst being flanked by 2 doormen. He then repeatedly screamed at me to F**k Off out of his venue.
"Obviously as well as being flanked by a door team and being in a small venue we left as we believed our safety was in jeopardy.
"Following on from this the venue owner Carl has repeatedly threatened to visit our houses with his Doormen since the appearance. We have now reported this issue to the police it is now with our solicitors."
A representative for Scotty confirmed to The Sun Online confirmed the incident has been reported to police, but declined to offer further comment.
Lancashire Police could not find a record of a complaint relating to the claims, and a representative for The Loft night club also declined to give an official comment to The Sun Online.
The news comes amid fears Scotty is set to make a dramatic exit from Geordie Shore.
The reality star will be missing from the start of the new series when it returns to TV next month.
He previously opened up about his exit plans.
Scotty has also been embroiled in drama recently after The Sun on Sunday reported he enjoyed a secret rendez-vous with Katie Price.
