What’s on Amazon Prime in November? From The Grand Tour to Crazy, Stupid Love all the new series and films you need to watch this month
AS the nights are getting darker and the days are getting colder, Amazon Prime Video's offerings make a cosy night in sound fantastic.
November has some old school classics on offer and the second series of their acclaimed original series Red Oaks will be debuting.
The Grand Tour
When is it on? The Amazon Prime Video original show premieres on November 18.
What season are we up to? This will be the first series of the new show.
Who’s in it? The trio, Clarkson, Hammond and May, take the helm of the new car show.
What’s it about? The show will be in a similar vein to the on-location episodes Top Gear and will see the trio travel around the world, and filming in front of an audience on location.
The first episode is believed to feature their time in California but the trio have also visited Johannesburg, South Africa and have been spotted in Barbados and the Algarve in Portugal, where they are believed to have racing the world’s most expensive cars.
Crazy Stupid Love
When is it on? It will be avbaiable to watch from 10 November
Who’s in it? Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling and Steve Carrell are among the all star cast of this romcom.
What’s it about? A middle-aged husband's life changes dramatically when his wife asks him for a divorce. He seeks to rediscover his manhood with the help of a newfound friend, Jacob, learning to pick up girls at bars.
Jacob is a bit of a lothario, but his life changes when he meets a special someone.
The Powerpuff Girls Movie
When is it on? The movie hits Amazon on November 10.
Who’s in it? Cathy Cavandini, Tara Strong and Elizabeth Daily reprise their roles as the trio.
What’s it about? The movie shows the origin of the Powerpuff Girls before the cartoon series.
It explains why they were born, in more detail than the sugar, spice all things nice and CHEMICAL X.
It also explains why they dedicated their lives to fighting crime and the forces of evil.
Midnight in Paris
When is it on? This enchanting Woody Allen flick will be on Prime on November 22.
Who’s in it? The cast includes Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams and Kathy Bates.
What’s it about? While on a trip to Paris with his fiancée's family, a nostalgic screenwriter finds himself mysteriously going back to the 1920s everyday at midnight.
He meets his literary heroes and his life changes forever.
Red Oaks
When is it on? The second season of the Amazon Prime original kicks off on 11 November.
What season are we up to? This will be the second season of the comedy. The first series was streamed in October 2015.
Who’s in it? Craig Roberts, Jennifer Grey and Richard Kind are among those starring.
What’s it about? The coming-of-age comedy follows a student (Roberts) who works as a tennis pro at the prestigious and exclusive Red Oaks Country Club in New Jersey during the summer between his sophomore and junior years of college (NYU) in the 1980s.
Contagion
When is it on? Contagion will be available from November 27.
Who’s in it? Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Winslet are among the big names.
What’s it about? Healthcare professionals, government officials and everyday people find themselves in the midst of a worldwide epidemic as the CDC works to find a cure.
The film follows a number of different people as they try to navigate what's going on.
Magic in the Moonlight
When is it on? The film will be available on Amazon Prime Video on November 1.
Who’s in it? Colin Firth, Emma Stone, Marcia Gay Harden take on the lead roles.
What’s it about? A romantic comedy by Woody Allen about an Englishman brought in to help unmask a possible bogus magician.
But of course, personal and professional complications ensue.
