The revelation came in a new trailer for the third season of their reality show Georgia and Tommy: Baby Steps.

In the new series the proud parents of 17 month old Brody continue to jungle being parents and also being owners of a successful footwear business.

Tommy is seen struggling emotionally and the pair reach rock bottom in their eight-year relationship.

Following an ultimatum from Georgia, Tommy seeks help and is diagnosed with severe ADHD.

In the preview of series 3 Tommy talks about what he has been through, and says: "Cor, it's been a tough three months. How do I start? Brody's good. Better than ever. Smiley, cheeky, getting big.

"And he's the reason why I had to confront something I've been dealing with for 30 years to stop me from losing my family."

Georgia is then seen adding: "I think we both got to the point where we was just like, you know, it's not working.

"I feel like we both was on the same page and he said he wanted to move out. I said I would move out and then I remember taking my ring off.'

Tommy continues: "It's still very raw, but there have been developments in the last few weeks that have given me hope.'

Georgia concludes: "If it wasn't for Brody, maybe I would have just walked away. When you are a mom, you just can't. You can't just break up your family like that, can you?'

Tommy later says: "We've always shared our highs and lows with viewers and my diagnosis of severe ADHD has been lifechanging.

"Georgia and I wanted to raise awareness of ADHD and felt it was important to share our story.

"ADHD can often go undetected and there are varying degrees of it but for me, being diagnosed as a 30-year-old adult, it finally all made sense why I behaved in certain ways.

"Seeking help and managing my ADHD has meant that I'm in a better place to be the best partner and dad possible."
