I’ve piled on two and a half stone and I’m miserable at size 14 but I’m saving on energy bills, says Kerry Katona
KERRY Katona has admitted she is "miserable" after gaining two and a half stone but is using her extra "insulation" as a money-saving hack.
The Atomic Kitten singer, 42, has partly seen the funny side of going up a few dress sizes amid the current cost of living crisis.
Kerry, who revealed her flat tummy in 2016 post-liposuction, told : "I've put on about two and a half stone and I'm now a size 14, which is making me miserable.
"But it's really cold at the moment and the electricity bills are getting higher and higher.
"I just saw that and thought it's better to eat more to get more insulation on my body and save some money at the same time!"
Kerry has previously spoken out about her "worry" for the cost of living crisis and admitted she is "constantly" trying to find ways to save.

Talking of her lifestyle, she added to the same publication: "I try to do yoga when I can and I've tried to eat healthily, but I need to control my portion size more.
"Also, I've been working away from home which encourages you to eat s**t all the time. It's not good.
"I had a tummy tuck and they took away my belly button and left a horrible bit that pops out at the top. I never asked for any of that. My stomach looks so swollen now. It's just a mess.
"I'm like a f*ing flat pack from IKEA, they just need to put me back together again."

Previously, Kerry opened up on comparing her post-surgery body to an "IKEA flat pack."
She got her first boob job in 2004 after her split from Westlife’s Brian McFadden.
Over the past 18 years Kerry has continued to use cosmetic surgery to alter her appearance.
In a recent episode of she reflected on why she's gone under the knife so many times - and referred to herself as a piece of furniture.
Kerry said: "I started out as a page 3 model, I had a great set of t**s on me, I wasn’t going to be a rocket scientist, that was my get out, I was a pretty girl, I used what god gave me.
"Half my body’s not mine anyway. I’ve been sliced and diced so many bloody times I’m like a flat pack from Ikea."
Kerry has had multiple boob jobs, a tummy tuck, liposuction.

She's also altered her face.
Kerry has had Botox in her forehead, as well as fillers in her lips and cheeks, and fat-dissolving injections in her chin.
