Stars of new Wagatha Christie West End play Vardy v Rooney revealed

THE stars of the new Wagatha Christie West End play Vardy v Rooney have been announced.

Laura Dos Santos, who appeared in Doctor Who, Wallander, Bad Girls and The Bill, will play Coleen Rooney in the show.

And Mamma Mia stage star Lucy May Barker will be Rebekah Vardy when the production opens at Wyndham’s Theatre next Tuesday.

The play has been adapted from the High Court transcript of this summer’s libel trial between the two Wags.

Vardy, 40, lost her battle against 36-year-old Coleen over a viral social media post accusing her of giving Rooney family secrets to the media.

The high-profile case has also been secured for on-screen dramatisations, with Channel 4 creating a two-part film.

The play runs until January 10.
