Honey G throws shade at Little Mix over Zayn Malik song as she insists there’s ‘no beef’
The X Factor rapper took on the chart-topping girl group for calling her fake
Honey G has thrown some serious shade at Little Mix.
The middle-class X Factor rapper with a penchant for a baseball cap and sunglasses inside hit back at the chart-topping girl band for comments they made, despite insisting there was 'no beef'.
Clearly referencing Little Mix's Zayn-shaming song Shoutout to my Ex, Honey insisted on the Xtra Factor that she would only have a problem with them if they wrote a song about her.
"If they make a song attacking me then there might be a problem," she said, the catty little minx.
Speaking to The Sun, the girl group revealed that they had been told by sources that Honey G - whose real name is Anna Gilford - is playing a prank.
Jade stressed: "I think it’s a joke. I don’t believe she’s real. She’s blatantly an actress. Let’s just say, I’ve heard she’s an actress."
Jesy went on to repeat the same thoughts to Kiss FM, as she said: "She's just no. I think she's an actress, I've been told she is as well."
The band clearly aren't hoping to see the London rapper make it to the final as Leigh-Anne added: "I'm all for entertainment, but I'm also all for real talent as well."
Honey G is part of Sharon Osbourne's Over-25s this year, joining Relley C and Saara Aalto in the finalists alongside the likes of 5 After Midnight, Samantha Lavery and Ryan Lawrie.
She had originally been booted off at the Six Chair Challenge but was brought back in after act was forced to quit.
Honey G was previously exposed as a middle class recruitment manager with a passion for tennis, and The Sun Online revealed she gave herself a “complete personality transplant” as part of her reinvention.
A source told The Sun that the 35-year-old is “very well spoken” and “smart”, and “comes from a decent background”.
Stephanie Jones attended Salford University with Anna, and she has revealed her former uni mate is actually very different to the persona she ‘created’ for TV.
Stephanie went to explain that Anna has even ditched her posh accent as part of the Honey G makeover.
The Salford graduate goes on to declare the former DJ must be pulling a prank on X Factor bosses, but fears she may not be able to keep up the pretence much longer.
It came shortly after we revealed that Honey G looks completely different in her profile on networking website LinkedIn.
She is revealed to be an educated professional with 10 years experience working in IT before setting up her own recruitment consultancy.
She also boasts a master's degree from top university UCL, and lists her interests as tennis, skiing and current affairs.
