"and things are so easily edited so please try not to stress and compare yourself or your life.

More on Chanelle Hayes
"It’s something I have to remind myself daily because I subconsciously compare the chosen snapshot of life on people’s social media to my whole life warts and all.
"It’s unkind of me to do it to myself, but I do.
"Sending love, stretch marks, grey hairs and messy imperfection to you all ❤️."
Chanelle's followers were eager to share their praise for the star as they flocked to the comments to react to the post, with one commenting: "You look happy in your own skin which is a massive part of why we have weight loss surgery- to finally be happy, healthy and confident as our authentic selves 🙌"
Another wrote: "You always look amazing very true to everyone always yourself inspiration to me and everyone luv ya 👏👏😍❤️"
A third added: "The unedited version of you is the best. So so gorgeous! Thank you for sharing 😍"
The 34-year-old shed nine stone with the help of gastric sleeve surgery, going from a size 18 to a size 10.
Despite being criticised for turning to weight loss surgery to trim down, Chanelle defended the procedure, explaining her struggles with a food addiction.
She explained: "I know some people see #bariatricsurgery as cheating…
"but it’s not an easy road, and one that was difficult for me to decide to walk down.
"I want to share my experience on here because #foodaddiction is real and, whether people choose bariatrics or not, the way this addiction is viewed by society as a whole is as though it’s “just an excuse to be greedy.
"It’s not."
The star continued, "It’s hard to love yourself when you’re disgusted at yourself.
"It’s not easy to find the courage to change unhealthy behaviours when they’re your way of self-comforting.
"I’ve chosen blue for these pictures to convey that, even if you do change your life, blue days still happen and even though physical health can be improved, working on our #mentalhealth is a constant battle.
