What happened to some of Towie’s past stars? We catch up with Ferne McCann, Lauren Goodger and co after they’ve left Essex
While some of the stars have stayed in the limelight, others have ditched life at the Sugar Hut for family life, and others have left the business completely. How many of these do you remember?
FOR many of our most loved residents of Essex, Towie isn't forever - and soon they head off on their own path after finding their fame on the ITVBe show.
So what has happened to some former Towie faves? We check in on some of the past cast members.
Lauren Goodger
Since leaving Towie, Lauren has participated on Dancing on Ice and Celebrity Big Brother - but didn't win either.
The star has had a public battle with her weight, and after losing several stone released a successful exercise DVD.
She has since put some of the weight back on, but works hard to stay healthy in the gym.
In 2016 - 2017, her rollercoaster love life took centre stage when she started a relationship with Joey Morrison while he was in prison.
She now is the face of her own fake tan company, Lauren's Gold.
Ferne McCann
Ferne joined the show in 2013 and it's helped launch her TV career.
In 2015, she went on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! where she famously chomped on a LIVE spider before coming in third overall, losing out to new bestie Vicky Pattison.
Since then she has landed several presenting roles and seemed loved up with her boyfriend Arthur Collins.
However, things took a turn when Arthur was accused of throwing acid in an East London nightclub, severely injuring several club revellers.
He then went on the run before being eventually caught - and then days later it was revealed she was pregnant.
Her first child is due in November, 2017.
Charlie Sims
Charlie used to date Ferne, but when they split up last year he quit the programme.
It seems he's not about the telly lifestyle anymore, because these days he's a boxing promoter.
His dad is a successful trainer in the sport, so it looks like he's keeping the career in the family.
Grace Andrews
She splits her time between the UK and Dubai and has just got engaged to Jack Herron.
Grace hit screens in 2014, when she was certainly a hit with the guys.
She was involved in a love triangle with Lewis Bloor and Mario Falcone, but now her life is totally different.
Grace has no plans to return to Towie, and told : "I think you've got to be a certain way to be on that show, you've got to be very thick skinned. You've got to be very in with voicing opinions.
"I wouldn't [go back], no. I don't think Towie was really for me deep down."
Pascal Craymer
As well as being on the show, Pascal used to be a gymnast and she's appeared as a ring girl too.
Things haven't been easy for her, as she recently admitted regretting getting a boob job which boosted her chest to a 34DD.
She's receiving regular counselling for body dysmorphia.
Darrell Privett
You'll remember Darrell as a brief love interest of Chloe Sims, although he'd dated Lauren Pope off screen previously.
He left the show in 2013 and his career has taken off since as he works as a DJ.
Billi Mucklow
Billi featured in series three to eight and her life's changed quite a lot since then.
She's now engaged to footballer Andy Carroll and they have a 16-month-old son called Arlo together, plus Billi's got her own yoga firm.
Harry Derbidge
Harry is fellow Towie star Amy Childs' cousin. He quit the programme in 2012 to "move onto different things", including his shop.
Sadly that shut down in 2016, although he's still trading online and appears in panto.
Sam Faiers
Months afterwards she was diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
Sam is one of the bigger names on the show, appearing on it between 2010 and 2014 and famed for her romance with Joey Essex.
After leaving she went on Celebrity Big Brother and settled down with her partner, Paul.
She had a baby boy called Paul Jr, and appears on her own reality show The Mummy Diaries with the tot.
As of October 2017, she is pregnant with her second child.
Ricky Rayment
Ricky quit Towie last year so he could move to Geordie Shore and propose to his then girlfriend Marnie Simpson.
Their romance didn't last though, and in June he admitted regretting the decision.
"[Would I return]? Definitely. It was a huge part of my life but it depends if they want me back," he told .
"[But] Towie is weird. When you're on the show, you're friends. When you're off it, you're not."
He's now concentrating on music and panto.
Amy Childs
Amy was only in the first couple of series of Towie, but it's been a great springboard for her.
She's also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and The Jump, had her own reality show and runs a beauty business.
Amy has a beauty and tanning range, and in 2017 she gave birth to her daughter, Polly.
Maria Fowler
Maria was a glamour model who was on the show in 2011.
She gave birth to her first child, daughter Evie Paris Batey, with her partner Kelvin Batey in September 2016.
It was a traumatic labour too, with Maria suffering complications and losing half the blood in her body.
Tom Kilbey
Before Towie, Tom was a professional footballer for Portsmouth.
He was on seasons four to seven, when he dated Lydia Bright.
These days he's had a bit of a hair makeover and lives in Los Angeles, where he works on his clothes brand MERGe.
Dan Osborne
Dan left the show last year after a recording of him having a foul-mouthed rant about his ex Megan Tomlin popped up.
He's now a dad-of-two after having daughter Ella with his partner Jacqueline Jossa.
The pair married in the summer of 2017, and since then Dan has opened his own tattoo parlour.
