ED Balls has finally given in and had his first spray tan.
The former shadow chancellor, 49, was filmed on Facebook live yesterday after fearing that he looked pasty in his sequined outfits.
Ed, who looked shocked at the size of the pants he would have to wear, revealed recently that a fake bake was inevitable the further he went.
He said last week: “To leave Strictly without having at least my upper body turned tangerine would be to miss out on an important tradition.
I’m hoping to try it next week, if I’m still in the competition.”

Speaking before his beauty session, he revealed none of the other contestants ask him out partying after filming.
He said: “Sadly, they’ve not invited me. I don’t know what it is but people slip out and I’m just stood there.”
The former politician also revealed this week that his wife, Yvette Cooper, has made him promise never to dance another paso doble again after his recent turn made him look like a "camp matador".
