X Factor rejects Bratavio hawk new ‘rent a friend’ and fan shopping services on Twitter
The duo have embarked on a new career path since being booted off the ITV show
QUIRKY X Factor duo Bratavio didn't bag enough public votes to make it through the first live show - but they are banking on their supporters to snap up new 'experience' gifts which will see them hit the shops with fans and have a giggle on one-to-one online chats.
The pair launched their 'rent a friend' style offerings on singer Ottavio Columbro's Twitter account today.
The uploaded an excited message which said: "Now you can buy a fan experience with @BRATAVIO from shopping trips to Skype calls."
The duo then added: "We're ready to party with you," followed by celebration Emojis and a love heart.
A spokesperson for the pair exclusively told The Sun Online: "Ottavio has a degree in fashion and Bradley is super, super into his retail therapy and is an amazing stylist to his friends - so what a perfect combination for a day out experience."
One fan immediately commented under their message to show their excitement and wrote: "How," followed by four icons with heart-shaped eyes while another gushed: "Omg yes!!"
Another account, for a haunted house attraction, promised the pair: "We challenge you and we will even fit you on our stage."
Another fan quizzed: "Seriously," to which Ottavio replied with: "Yes babe, choose an experience and we'll see you soon," followed by a kiss icon.
After they were axed by the public vote after the first live show, Bratavio exclusively told The Sun Online they were no novelty act.
After they sung a mashup of Aqua’s Barbie Girl and Vengaboys’ Boom on Saturday they discussed the criticism, and Ottavio said: “We’re not [the novelty act], we’re credible!
“We’ve got good voices, good production and we want to be industry standards.
“[Creative director] Brian Freidman understands us and he knows we don’t want to come across as a joke.”
The flamboyant duo then revealed they wanted to be the UK's next Eurovision act.
Ottavio told The Daily Star: “We would love to do Eurovision. I think we could win it.”
He added that he thought it would be the “perfect contest” for them.
