REHEARSALS for this week’s X Factor live shows are underway and 5 After Midnight are set to wow fans with their moves once more as the work closely with choreographer Brian Freidman.
The lads, Kieran Alleyne, Nathan Lewis and Jordan Lee, were pictured working on their moves with Brian, while their mentor Louis Walsh watched on.
Louis looks like he’s got big show-stopping plans for his groups this week as his girl group Four of Diamonds were also seen deep in conversation with the celebrity choreographer.
The girls joined the show a week later than their fellow contestants after Brooks Way were kicked out the competition but have certainly not had to play catch-up with the rest of the hopefuls, putting on a strong debut performance last week.
Contestants also took a break from standing around the piano with their vocal coaches to have a masterclass with US sensation John Legend.
The hopefuls looked ecstatic to get have a class with the Grammy-award winning hit maker, especially Honey G who was in full Honey G mode as she pulled her best moves, wearing a pair of ripped jeans, and her trademark cap and mirrored sunglasses.
John appeared to look slightly bemused as the Harrow based rapper performed for him, but posed for a picture any anyway.
He was clearly taken by 5 After Midnight and even joined in for a sing-a-long as Nathan jumped on the piano to play Ordinary People.
The singer also shared advice with the contestants on the importance of song choices and how to deal with rejection.
John said: “When I first started I got rejected by every major record label, including the label I am signed to now. It took six years for me to get there. You just need to keep going.”
John, who will be performing his new single Love Me Now on the results show this Sunday, was really impressed with the performances.
John said: “I think it’s a really good group! There’s some really talented singers, some good variety in the styles. I had fun meeting everybody today and hearing them up close and personal.”
He added “I really liked Four of Diamonds, I really thought they were wonderful. And Gifty was great, she had such a good energy. I think both Matt and Relley can be better than they were today, they are both really talented."
