Ayden Callaghan QUITS Hollyoaks after three years as Joe Roscoe
The actor has already completed filming on the Channel 4 soap but there's still more to come from Joe Roscoe
AYDEN Callaghan has sensationally quit Hollyoaks.
The 42-year-old actor - who plays Joe Roscoe in the Channel 4 teen soap - and The Sun Online can exclusively reveal he has already completed filming on the soap and will last seen on screen later this year after three years playing the character.
A soap source said: "Hollyoaks fans will be disappointed to see Joe Roscoe leave the village, but there's still more to see from him before he goes.
"There will be a thrilling climax to the love triangle between Joe, Mercedes and Joanne and sparks will fly."
A Hollyoaks spokesperson said: "We would never comment on an actors contract length."
In real life Ayden has recently married his long-term girlfriend, former CBeebies presenter, Sarah-Jane Honeywell.
The pair have been enjoying a luxurious honeymoon on a yacht in Mallorca
Earlier this year it emerged Ayden requested to be written out of a heartbreaking stillbirth storyline after his wife previously suffered a real life miscarriage.
The emotional storyline came when the actor and his wife were expecting a baby, having previously lost a child to miscarriage.

The actor's wife Sarah-Jane said at the time: "I hadn't even thought about the possibility of a stillbirth until then, but now it was firmly in my mind.
"I just thought, if something does go wrong at our real birth and he is acting that out, I just don't know how either of us will get through that.
"He was so brave. He didn't know if he would be sacked, black listed and he certainly knew he would lose money - but he loved me and the baby he hadn't even met so much that he put his whole career on the line for us."
At the time, on screen, Mercedes was conforted by her family while Joe was sent to Canada to visit his mother Sandy.
In real life, Ayden and Sarah-Jane went on to welcome son Phoenix in August 2015, and it seems they want to add to their adorable family soon.
"We would definitely like at least one more in the near future," the actor told OK! magazine. "Phoenix took our relationship to a whole new level, so it would be lovely to add another child to our family."
A representative for Ayden did not return request for comment.
