S CLUB 7 star Jo O'Meara has told fans she's in horrific pain after recently undergoing emergency back surgery.
The singer, 43, was forced to cancel live shows last month and had an operation to remove a disc in her back.
But Jo is still in a lot of pain and a scan has revealed she needs further surgery.
In a new Instagram video taken from her hospital bed, she said: "As you can see I'm back in bed. That is because the back is playing games again. The pain has been absolutely horrendous and today I got some MRI scan results back that wasn't the result I wanted. I've actually got to go back into hospital for further surgery on my back which I'm absolutely devastated about to be honest."
The frustrating news has taken its toll on Jo's mental health and she's found it hard to remain positive.
She continued: "And it's been making me feel really quite in a bad place if I'm being honest."

Writing in her caption, "gutted" Jo said the MRI findings weren't what she wanted to see and that her back is "a bit of a mess".
She finished: "I will be taking things easy for the time being to make sure I’m fighting fit ! Thankyou for all your love and support you continue to show me ! And don’t forget it’s almost Halloween 🎃 that means one thing !! Stream 'Thriller' ! I love you all very much."
The pop star first alerted fans to her health problems last month when she pulled out of a performance at Fife Pride.

After overcoming that scary experience, Jo transformed her lifestyle, quitting smoking and drinking, before being struck down with her back issue.
She shot to fame in 1999 with the pop band S Club 7, alongside Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Rachel Stevens and Hannah Spearritt.
The group released their first single, Bring It All Back, in 1999 with the song going straight to Number 1. They went on to have four UK No1 singles and a UK No1 album.
The band also had TV shows including Miami 7 and Viva S Club before splitting in 2003.
Despite being considered the strongest S Club vocalist, Jo's first attempt at a solo career flopped soon after the band disbanded.
In 2007, the singer was at the centre of Celebrity Big Brother's race storm when she, Jade Goody, and Danielle Lloyd were accused of racist and bullying behaviour towards fellow contestant Shilpa Shetty.
