THE ninth series of Who Dares Wins is bound to reel in the viewers when it airs this weekend.
From who is presenting to how big the prize fund is, here’s everything you need to know about the classic gameshow…
When is it on?
Who Dares Wins makes its return tomorrow on BBC One.
The popular National Lottery show will be broadcast on Saturdays at around 8:20pm.
Luckily, if you miss it, the episodes will be available for catch up on iPlayer.
Who is hosting?
Nick Knowles has been presenting Who Dares Wins since November 2007 and will take back his position for this series.
What's the premise?
In the quiz, two teams of complete strangers compete by completing a series of lists.
The team who name more correct answers on a list get the chance to take some money out of the prize fund.
How much can be won?
Depending on how well the teams do, different prize winnings are dished out.
The rewards are as follows…
Three correct answers for £5,000
Six correct answers for £10,000
Nine correct answers for £15,000
12 correct answers for £25,000
15 correct answers for £50,000
The prize fund is divided between two team members, meaning the most that can be won is £25,000 per contestant on each show.
Staggeringly, the most money that has been won by any contestant is £170,000.
Brainy duo Trish McGowan and Seamus Hussein managed to amass the prize pot over eight shows.
