Maura Higgins breaks silence after Joey Essex snog by licking a pal

MAURA Higgins has broken her silence after her snog with Joey Essex with a cheeky social media post.

The former Love Island star - who rose to fame alongside best pal Molly-Mae Hague in 2019 - took to her Instagram stories with a video clip of her licking her friend to "greet her".

Maura, 31, was pictured kissing Dancing On Ice's Joey Essex at the Pride of Britain Awards, before heading home in the same taxi.

The reality TV star had kept quiet on social media about the kiss - finally breaking her silence this afternoon with the racy clip.

Maura shared a series of snaps showing off her bright yellow ball gown from the red carpet event last night.

She then went on to repost a video of her licking the face of her friend and make-up artist Krystal Dawn at the event.

Maura could be seen leaning in towards Krystal in the video, before sticking out her tongue and pretending to lick her pal's cheek.

"She's a licker," Krystal captioned the video alongside a shrugging emoji, with Maura jokingly adding: "It's how I greet people."

It comes after Maura was seen locking lips with Joey, 32, inside London's Grosvenor House before leaving the venue in the same taxi.

The former Towie star pulled Maura in towards him and held her close, seemingly without caring about those who were watching.

The pair bundled into the back seat and used her frilly yellow dress to sneak another intimate moment together.

Recently, Joey has been hard at work training for the upcoming series of Dancing on Ice alongside Love Island 2022 winner Ekin-Su.

The reality TV star has been training non stop and said he was 'lucky to have his finger' after an accident on the ice.

Meanwhile, Maura set tongues wagging at the National Television Awards last week - while donning another incredible dress - as she left the bash with Chris Hughes.

However, an insider told us: "Chris and Maura both headed to the Hilton together.
