Molly Mae left bedbound with nasty flu six months into pregnancy

MOLLY Mae said she had been left bedbound with a nasty flu six months into her pregnancy.

The Love Island star opened up in her latest video on YouTube and told fans she had been floored with the bug.

She said: "The night before last I woke up in the middle of the night and out of nowhere I couldn't swallow.

"You know when it feels like Edward Scissorhands has slithered his fingers down your throat.

"I'm so behind on so much work and I'm freaking out because I can't get out of the bed. Like I've not got out of the bed all day.

"I ordered some breakfast on Deliveroo and I couldn't even get out of bed to collect it."

Molly added: "It has just literally hit me like a ton of bricks. It has just gotten worse every hour."

Molly continued filming her blog two days later and said she was "back in the land of living" admitting it was "a rough couple of days."

She said: "I had to take a moment to recover from whatever struck me. It was so awful, coldy and coughy flu. It actually lasted for a week."

The YouTuber, 23, recently explained that she has an anterior placenta, meaning her baby's placenta grows in the front of the uterine wall.

It's a common condition in pregnancy that may make it harder for you to feel your baby's kicks.

Sharing a photo of her latest baby scan, Molly said: "So, I actually have an anterior placenta.

"I have been getting quite disheartened at how little I've been able to feel her move especially when I can feel her, and Tommy can't when he touches my belly."

It comes after Molly revealed the "painful" side effect she has been experiencing at six months pregnant in a tell-all video.
