Jeremy McConnell ‘posts meme comparing pregnant ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis to breakdown-era Britney Spears’
The hunky Irishman is said to have shared offensive post only to delete it minutes later
JEREMY McConnell is alleged to have posted a meme mocking his pregnant ex Stephanie Davis' claims that the stress of their toxic relationship made her lose her hair.
An eagle-eyed fan spotted the mocking post on his Instagram page on Thursday morning, but noted that it was deleted after just a few minutes.
A screengrab of the hunky model's account shows a picture of a shaven headed Britney with a sneering comment aimed at Steph, 23, underneath.
It reads: "Great having a laugh with the ex last ni[ght]."
The picture of Britney was taken in 2007, and came around the time she had a nervous breakdown, reportedly due to a serious drug addiction and mental health issues.
Thursday was the anniversary of Steph's grandad's death, and the troubled actress spent the day sharing emotional tributes to him.
It's likely the picture and scathing comment is in regards to Steph's latest OK! blog, in which she claimed that the stress of going out with Jez - who she met and fell in love with on the January series of Celebrity Big Brother - caused her to lose "handfuls" of hair.
Speaking about the benefits of pregnancy hormones, she revealed all about her brush with blonde a few months back.
She said: “I’ve been working hard to repair my hair as when I was ‘blonde Steph’, my hair snapped a lot and it also started to fall out with all the stress I was under. I also came up in blotches on my skin.
“My hair went really thin and I went in total shock which was really upsetting.
“Everyone always said one of my best features was my long dark hair that was all natural and here it was falling out.
“If I touched it, it would just come out in my hands and I was told it was all the pressure I was under.
"I had a cry about it quite often because I didn’t feel like myself. It makes you feel womanly in a sense.
"A lot of people don't know this but when it was long and blonde it was actually a wig because my hair was just done for, I'd lost so much.
"I looked ill without it and just didn't feel human.
"It's in much better condition now and obviously with the pregnancy it's growing back a bit but I've just found out it can fall out again after giving birth! I'm dreading it."
Jeremy had ALREADY responded to the ex-Hollyoaks actress' claims, sharing a screenshot of The Sun online's article and telling his followers he would be calling out the actress on other "attention seeking" antics.

On Wednesday night he wrote: "Aw stop I’m in knots, not cause you dye it white blonde from dark brown , any time I see an attention seeking article that makes me laugh I’m posting it.”
A rep for Jeremy declined to comment.
