The new parents glowed with pride as they went for a stroll in the autumn sunshine

MARIA Fowler glowed with the love of a new mum as she and boyfriend Kelvin Batey took their new born daughter to the park today.

The former Towie babe could not take her eyes off her two-week-old baby Evie as she and Kelvin pushed her around the boating lake.

The couple doted and cooed over their little lady as they strolled around the park near their home and stopped at the swings to take her out and have a cuddle.

And it proved to be the perfect spot for some more family photos as they snapped each other holding their little girl.

Maria, 30, and 34-year-old Kelvin, welcomed their first child to the world last month who arrived weighing 8lb and 1oz.

But Maria suffered a difficult and traumatic labour and revealed that she had lost half her body’s blood.

Tweeting the NHS Give Blood service, she wrote: “Want to thank @GiveBloodNHS for all that you do. After losing half my body’s blood without your services I would b v poorly now. Donate ppl.”

Kelvin was just happy to get his girls home and soon after the birth he tweeted: “Finally got my girls home after a complicated birth. So proud of the both of them and thankful things are ok now. Evie Paris Batey 25/9/16

“To meet my soulmate & be lucky enough to start a family with her is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Nothing can compare. So happy.”

Maria’s pregnancy wasn’t without its issues either –she was diagnosed with SPD – Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction – a condition that causes pain in the pelvic region and is very common in pregnancy and needed crutches.

She told The Sun Online at the time: “I’ve got SPD, it’s a problem with my pelvis. I went to physio and have to rest now and use crutches until the baby comes.

“It’s the most painful thing ever. It’s the relaxin your body produces when you’re pregnant that causes a problem with the pelvis.”

And she joked: “And I have to have it!”
