I got fat and could have got a quick-fix surgery – but I refuse to go under the knife again, says Chantelle Houghton

BIG Brother legend Chantelle Houghton has ruled out having surgery to lose weight - vowing never to go under the knife again.

The brunette beauty, 39, had her last operation in 2016 when she had her breast implants removed.

At the height of her fame, Chantelle increased her B cup breasts to become 32FF - but says it was her "biggest regret".

In a bid to avoid having to replace her implants every decade for the rest of her life, Chantelle reversed her previous operation.

Despite temptation to opt for liposuction after gaining weight in lockdown, Chantelle chose to stick to healthy food and exercise to lose three-and-a-half stone.

She told The Sun: "When I had my breast implants removed completely, I knew that was my very last cosmetic surgery.

"I made a promise to myself I'd only go under the knife again for medical reasons.

"So surgery wasn't an option for me to lose weight.

"I've realised it's a long-term thing, there's no quick fix.

"Even with surgery you have to maintain it or you end up right back where you started."

Chantelle crept over 13st while in a "dark place" last year.

Determined to change her life around after strangers mistakenly congratulated her on being pregnant Chantelle says she feels "reborn" after shedding the pounds.

She said: "I'd been in such a bad place for such a very long time. My weight was creeping up and up and I was getting so many people congratulating me on my pregnancy that didn't exist.

"I've always had trouble with weight on my tummy, so I understood people thinking I was pregnant because I saw it myself. I did look pregnant.
