I had nasty punch up with Natasha Hamilton before being kicked out of Atomic Kitten, says Kerry Katona
DURING a tour of Australian and New Zealand with Atomic Kitten, Kerry Katona reveals for the first time how she ended up in a physical fight with her bandmate Natasha Hamilton.
On the tour Michelle Heaton, who is now in recovery, had stood in for Liz McLarnon.
Following a wild day of drinking she was taken to hospital by ambulance and was later photographed worse for wear – with Tash claiming it was Kerry’s fault for tipping off photographers.
Kerry, 42, writes in her new book Whole Again: “We got into a huge fight.
"I’m not proud of the fact it turned physical but I was absolutely fuming that she was accusing me of doing something I absolutely didn’t do.
“I was going mental. I kicked off in front of everyone. They ended up locking me out of the pub, so I tried to break the door down to get back in. I was absolutely furious.”

Atomic Kitten later reformed without Kerry and last year re-recorded their 2000 No1 hit Whole Again without her.
She adds: “I’m sad and envious. What I wouldn’t give to be back on stage with them.
"There’s no better feeling than being in front of an audience with your mates singing songs and doing dance routines. I’d be there in a heartbeat if they wanted me back.
“All I can do now is take the high road and wish them every success in the world.”
