Stephanie Davis reveals her unborn baby helped her get over ex Jeremy McConnell saying ‘I’ve still got part of him with me in our son’
But she admitted that she will never forgive him for the way he has treated her
STEPHANIE Davis has revealed that her unborn son has helped her get over his father and her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell.
The former Hollyoaks star found out she was expecting their baby just a week after they split in May.
And despite him vehemently denying the baby is his, Stephanie said it was easier to get over him knowing she’ll always have a part of him with her.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said: “I really did love Jez and I tried to reach out so he wouldn’t regret missing out with his son. That kills me. But I can give our son the life Jez never had and hope that he’ll be a better person.
“It’s easier to let go of Jeremy because I’ve still got part of him with me in our son.”
The 23-year-old is due to give birth in January next year and said she doesn’t think his father should be there.
She explained: “He doesn’t deserve to be there. I don’t think he wants to be there either. I don’t think I could ever forgive him for how he’s been.
“I used to send him scan photos but he doesn’t care and he never has. It’s just me and my son now. I never thought he’d be that type of guy.”
And she added: “It’s heartbreaking because I feel like I’ve let my baby down because I couldn’t give him both parents.”
