KYLIE Jenner has been blasted by followers for putting black lipstick on her three-year-old niece North West.
The 19-year-old took to Snapchat on Sunday to share footage of the toddler - eldest child of Kylie's half-sister Kim Kardashian - asking to wear some of the lipstick from her Kylie Cosmetics range.
As Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kylie bends down to her younger relative, she asks: "You wanted black yeah?
"Oh your little lips. Your lips are kind of wet."
Having applied the lip kit, Kylie quickly added another video of her holding a delighted North - complete with gothic black lips.
Kylie asked: "Do you like it?" and North replied with a big "Yeah!" before pouting her lips for the camera.
Her auntie then added a picture of North and her friend both holding the packaging of her makeup line alongside the caption: "What happens at auntie Kylie's stays at auntie Kylie's."
However a number of fans took issue with the move, taking to social media to slam the teenager for applying makeup to the little girls face.
One said: "RIDICULOUS THIS BABY IS TRYING TO LOOK LIKE HER MOM AND AUNTS..SAD..LET HER BE A DAMN CHILD!" while another added: "Wtf why is a 3 yr old pouting suggestively wearing make-up? Get her away from aunt prostitute!"
A fellow social media user also felt it was inappropriate to share the footage, writing: "I don't like it... kids should be kids... it's my opinion... so, to me no make up in kids [sic]."
Many agreed with the statement, adding: "TOO MUCH..TOO SOON..let her be that lil girl that she should be. There's so much of this already in her life".
However, some fans of Kylie leaped to her defence, claiming playing with makeup is all part of child's play.
One wrote: "All little girls love to play make-up and put it on. Nothing wrong with it. People worry about raising your own kids".
Other's simply complimented North on being able to pull off such a tricky makeup trend with aplomb.
One Twitter user wrote: "North West be slaying with that black lipstick" while another added: "Everything be lookin good on north west lmao even that dark lipstick looks better on her than it probably would on me and I'm a whole 20".
Another shared a screengrab of the toddler in the black lipstick next to Kylie and added: "NORTH WEST IS 3 YEARS OLD AND SHE ROCKS BLACK LIPSTICK BETTER THAN I EVER WILL".
