Stephanie Davis shares hilarious photo of her mum dressed up as Honey G while they watch The X Factor
The expectant mum showed off her own mother's new look while they watch the ITV reality show
STEPH Davis has shared a rare photo of her mum getting into the X Factor spirit by dressing up as rapper Honey G.
The 23-year-old expectant posted a picture of the grandma-to-be dressed up in the controversial talent competitor in a pair of shades and a baseball cap.
Steph's beloved mum posed for the candid snap with Honey G's signature peace hand gesture with a beaming smile while the family spent a night in together ahead of the ex-Hollyoaks star's upcoming arrival.
The whole family watched as the gold-loving 35-year-old rapper was put through to the next round of the X Factor - splitting viewers in the process over whether or not she deserved it.
The contestant, who is one of Sharon Osbourne’s Overs acts, was saved by the public vote after she rapped to Notorious BIG’s Mo Money Mo Problems which samples Diana Ross’s I’m Coming Out as part of Motown week.
While she has earned fans from her surprisingly well-received live performances, including Robbie Williams, Snoop Dogg and, begrudgingly, head judge Simon Cowell, others are claiming the show is a fix in her favour.
Former kennel worker Freddy Parker was eliminated from the competition on Sunday night after the judges went to deadlock and he received the lowest number of public votes.
Meanwhile, Steph has been looking forward to the birth of her first child and has been sharing pictures of the growing bump on Instagram.
LATEST FROM TV & SHOWBIZ
Earlier this week, the Celebrity Big Brother star revealed a choppy new hairdo and vowed it was "time for a change".
However, she admitted earlier that she is getting worried about the progress of the new arrival.
Steph, who is expecting a baby boy, admitted that her bump is larger than average and she is going to go have scans to ensure that everything is OK.
She wrote in her blog: “I’m always nervous about these things because you just worry about everything when you’re pregnant.”
The star added: "I get to see him again too which is really comforting after such a bad start to the pregnancy. After all those pains and the stress it’s nice to see him and keep an eye on him.”
Since announcing her impending arrival, Steph has been gushing about the love she has for her unborn little one, and one said in a series of tweets: "Is it possible to love someone so much.
"I can’t believe I’m carrying a beautiful baby that I wanted for so long. The love I have is crazy…"
She also fuelled rumours that she has found herself a new man after she changed her Twitter background to ‘Je t’aime’ – French for ‘I Love’ amid unconfirmed reports that she had admitted she was ‘in love’ in a now deleted Twitter post.
She has officially neither confirmed or denied the presence of a new man in her life, but is keeping it private if real after a disastrous public relationship with fellow CBB star Jeremy McConnell.
However, she did write: "Just because I’m pregnant, it doesn’t mean I can’t look for love. If I meet the right person, it won’t stop me.”
