Johnny Depp dating lawyer who represented him when he lost libel trial against The Sun

JOHNNY Depp is dating the lawyer who represented him when he lost a libel trial against The Sun in 2020. 

The 59-year-old actor is reportedly smitten with mum-of-two Joelle Rich, 37, who is a partner at international law firm Schillings and in the middle of a divorce. 

Although she represented Depp in his failed trial against The Sun, she was not part of the legal team in his recent defamation case with ex-wife Amber Heard. 

Joelle was in the courtroom to offer personal support but had “no professional obligation” in the proceedings, according to a US Weekly magazine source.

The source said the couple are “seriously dating” and “their chemistry is off the charts”.

But Rich is not the first brunette lawyer Depp has been linked to.

Camille Vasquez, 38, was part of his team for the Heard trial in New York and rumours were rife about the pair enjoying a romance.

But Vasquez was actually dating Brit exec Edward Owen.
