Reality TV star praised midfielder Richard Allen in the flirty message ahead of their FA Cup clash
KATIE Price recorded a good luck message for a football team — and referred to one player as “big boy” after seeing snaps of him in the shower.
She sent the flirty clip to Salford City’s joint manager Anthony Johnson ahead of their FA Cup clash with Stockport.
Wearing a dressing gown, she praised midfielder Richard Allen, 30, with a wink and said: “Richie, woo-hoo, what a big boy you are.”
Sporting full-make up, married mum-of-five Katie said: "Good luck with the game boys tomorrow, and happy birthday to you Jonno."
Katie’s make-up artist is the girlfriend of Salford keeper Jay Lynch, 23.
But her message failed to inspire the team as they lost their cup clash 2-0.
A source said: "We were all buzzing to have someone that famous send us a good luck message.
"It went down really well with the lads as a lot of them really like Katie.
"Richard was particularly chuffed by Katie's comments - he couldn't believe his luck.
"He was obviously quite proud but took a lot of ribbing from the lads.
"We reckon Katie's make-up artist must have shown her pictures of us in the shower and she obviously took a bit of a shine to Richie.
"Her message might have made us a bit too excited though - as we lost the game the following day."
Salford City are part-owned by 'Class of 92' ex Man Utd stars Gary and Phil Neville, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Nicky Butt - who each own a 10 per cent share in the club.
Katie recently caused a stir after she was pictured at a hotel with Geordie Shore star Scotty T and the former Celebrity Big Brother winner was adamant that nothing had gone on between the pair.
She has since taken time off from Loose Women to deal with marriage problems.
Katie confessed that touring the country to promote her latest autobiography Reborn had opened old wounds - including the time she caught best friend of 20 years Jane Pountney sleeping with Kieran.
