ORE Oduba was left in tears on tonight's Strictly Come Dancing after sailing to the top of the leaderboard with a near perfect score of 39.
The sports presenter received the first tens from the season and fell just short of the perfect 40 after receiving a 9 from Craig Revel Horwood.
However, even Craig heaped praise on the star and told him "you're the one to beat" as he fought back tears over the judges comments.
Head judge Len Goodman even compared his jive to Bruno Mars song Runaway Baby as "better than Jay's" after last year's winner Jay McGuinness performed a now iconic jive to the Pulp Fiction soundtrack as part of Movie Week.
Darcy Bussell was the first to give out her perfect 10 score, and stood up and yelled out the score as the audience gave the mark a standing ovation.
Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse once again found themselves high on the scoreboard after a quickstep to Fred Astaire classic I Won't Dance.
Meanwhile, the viewers were left impressed with Lesley and Anton after a fast-paced charleston and heaped praised on the 71-year-old star who is celebrating her 71st birthday this week.
Meanwhile, Ed Balls was left being consoled by the girls as he ruined his dance routine and plummeted to the bottom of the scoreboard.
The former Chancellor failed to impress with his performance of Holding Out For A Hero by Bonnie Tyler - earning a dysmal 16 points and the lowest of the entire series so far.
He will now have to rely on his likeability to win him votes with the public in order to stay in.
Viewers will able to see who lands in the dance off after this weeks performance on Sunday's show.
The two celebs who receive the lowest public votes will then dance-off against each other with the judges deciding who leaves the show.
Phone lines are now open.
