MEGAN McKenna looks like she’s ready to move on with her life after posting an inspirational message on Twitter
Fans had been worried about the star following her acrimonious split with Pete Wicks., but this message shows she’s feeling positive.
The reality babe wrote: “There are those who would give anything to see you fall, never give them the satisfaction.
“Hold your head high & put a smile on your face.”
Last week we revealed that Megan’s ex, Pete had sent a series of X-rated messages to model Jacqui Ryland while on holiday with Megan in Barcelona.
The tattooed star, 26, told Jacqui – who he secretly dated at the beginning of the year – he missed their time together and couldn’t wait to be home from his “boring” trip away with Megan.
Speaking about her heartbreak, Megan exclusively told The Sun Online: “I was in a relationship for nearly three years before I was on TV and that boy broke my heart and my trust and Pete knows – that’s why I’m so upset.
“Pete knows I can’t trust boys and then he goes and does that.
“I let my ex-boyfriend get away with it for years.
“He made me lose my confidence, I wasn’t the same person but then I got it all back, I’m doing well in my career, I’m on telly, and I’ve got such a nice boyfriend but now I feel like I’ve gone back to how I was a few years ago.”
Heartbroken Megan showed off her new hair do last night on a night out with Towie pal Amber Dowding, as she stepped out in a pair of eye-catching metallic gold trousers, a white shirt, pink coat and a pair of pointed heels.
However, although Megan looks like she wants to put the scandal behind her, it seems as though ex Pete is eager to win her back.
On Thursday he posted a picture on his Instagram that read: “It doesn’t matter how this looks to other people. If this is something you gotta do, then you do it! Fighters fight.”
The message came just one day after the newest episode of The Only Way is Essex saw his explosive row with Megan play out in front of the nation.
