Lewis Capaldi reveals he’s banned from Tinder and is now using a kinky sex app
DON’T expect to see Lewis Capaldi settling down any time soon – he has just been banned from Tinder.
To make things worse, the only dating app he has been able to get onto is one for people who are into kinky sex.
The hilarious Scottish bachelor said: “I’ve just been kicked off Tinder because people think I’m fake.
“I’ve been kicked off Bumble, Tinder and Hinge. Someone told me to go on this one called Feeld and I go on it and it’s so sexual, it’s unbelievable.
“It’s all about kinks and BDSM and I’m like, this is way beyond anything I’m tuned in for.”
He was booted off Tinder because app bosses thought his profile was fake, despite the fact he did an entire campaign with the brand just three years ago, when he met his now ex-girlfriend Catherine.

But it has left him struggling to meet down-to-earth women who are not obsessed with his celebrity status.
Lewis, who is fighting for the No1 spot in the charts today with his new single Forget Me, explained: “At the end of the day I’m still 25 and people talk about a power imbalance of someone being famous.
“I’m trying to work that out as well because I don’t want to use my fame, or for that to have any influence over someone I’m dating.
“What, am I only supposed to date people who are famous? That’s a really weird thing.

“I’ll admit being on Tinder is a bit weird but I met my last girlfriend on Tinder and she’s f***ing great.”
Speaking to Steven Bartlett on the Diary of a CEO podcast, he added: “For some crazy coincidence, more girls are interested in me now than they were a couple of years ago.”
I wonder what first attracted them to millionaire ?
But even if he were still on Tinder, it doesn’t sound as if there will be wedding bells any time soon.
He admitted: “A relationship would be nice but it’s not something I’m seeking at the moment.”
Quizzed on why he was using dating apps, he said: “I like hanging out with new people and . . . s***ging and that, I guess.
“If I met the right person I’d be buzzed. But right now it’s a bit unfair with the other person, they’d have to be quite an understanding human being.
“And kids? Right now that’s not in my plans at all. One of my friends has four kids and that’s not my bag at all.”
Strictly is ready to rumba
STRICTLY Come Dancing returns next Friday and if the line-up is anything to go by, we could be in store for fireworks on, and off, the dance floor.
Former Corrie actress Kym Marsh is a firm favourite and is always up for a laugh – and a boozy night out, in my experience.
Meanwhile retired Arsenal legend Tony Adams is just the right sort of sporting icon to throw a spanner in the works after he snubbed an offer from producers in 2016.
And following a turbulent year, newly single Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton may just welcome falling victim to the show’s “curse”.
The thought of cheesy musical numbers and sequins as the 20th series gets under way does not fill me with excitement.
But as long as pro dancer Nadiya Bychkova survives the dance-offs, at least there will be something to tune in for.
Gary grafts for good
GARY BARLOW is determined he will never slow down or quit his day job.
In an exclusive chat at the opening of his show, A Different Stage, at the Duke Of York’s theatre, London, the Take That icon said: “I could never see myself having a quieter life.
"I’ve always thought, if I can play and sing a bit, I could probably do [this job] for a long time.
“But I never imagined it would be like this. I never thought I’d still be performing at this level 30 years on. This is quite amazing. So, just to continue doing this is more than enough for me.
“Whether it’s theatre shows, Take That, my own gigs. The audience deserve us to push [ourselves] to our limit and to keep doing this for as long as they want us.”
SCOTT MILLS will join fiance Sam Vaughan when he heads to Radio 2 next month.
The DJ will take over from Steve Wright on weekday afternoons, having said an emotional farewell to Radio 1 last week after 24 years.
Scott’s partner Sam recently joined Radio 2, working on Michelle Visage's Friday night show.
Is Michael’s ad a Crimbo cracker?
HE has movies including The Greatest Showman and Robbie Williams’ upcoming biopic under his belt but now film director Michael Gracey is to tackle a very different challenge – creating Sainsbury’s Christmas advert.
He has kickstarted the race between the big four supermarkets for the best festive effort.
Michael worked on the retailer’s 2018 commercial, depicting a primary school Christmas show, which was hailed the best festive advert by Conran Design Group.
Now the supermarket is hoping to repeat the feat.
A source said: “Michael has some magical ideas for the Sainsbury’s advert. It’s going to tug at people’s heartstrings.
“He has been casting for a diverse range of characters, including a multi-racial teenager who will have the starring role.
“Michael thinks he has what it takes to win the top prize for them again and will be pushing a message of love and kindness in their advert.
“He is one of the best directors in the business and everyone working on the ad thinks they have something really special on their hands.”
I can’t bear to start thinking about Christmas but I know people look forwards to watching the ads.
God help us all.
HOWARD LAWRENCE has followed Shawn Mendes, Sam Fender and Justin Bieber by backing out of touring after “struggling” with his wellbeing.
The DJ – in the duo with his brother GUY – will not be going on their Australian tour.
He told fans online: “Sadly I’ve now hit a breaking point and need to take some time to look after myself.”

CLEAN BANDIT have plenty more hits on the way after teaming up with a string of chart stars and vowing to release more music than ever
In an exclusive chat, cellist Grace Chatto said: “We were in the studio with Central Cee recently which was really exciting and we have a song with James Arthur that should be coming out.
“We’ve made a few songs with Ella Henderson with James. She’s incredible. We got together recently and wrote loads of songs together.”
It shouldn’t be long before those tunes are out – following the release last week of new single Sad Girls – after Grace and Jack and Luke Patterson struck a fresh deal with Atlantic Records.
Grace added: “The last few years have been a little bit difficult in terms of being able to release what we wanted.

“But now we’ve decided we’re going to release something every six weeks and the label has agreed to that so it means we can get out so many more songs which will be a lot more fun.
“We are writing songs every day but last year we only had one song out. We couldn’t keep doing that.”
