ONE WAY TO SAVE MONEY

EastEnders viewer spots two Walford babies appearing to share outfit… but it’s NOT what you think

Maybe both mums just liked the outfit that much...

IT LOOKS like EastEnders might be trying unique ways of cutting costs, after one eagle-eyed viewer noticed two Walford babies appearing to share an same outfit on Friday's episode.

Linda Carter's son Oscar and Lauren Branning's baby Louie seemed to be wearing a fluorescent yellow and grey striped dungarees over a grey-blue t-shirt.

The Twitter user posted the pics of the two babies with their mums and posed the question asking whether the soap was trying to save money by having the children share the same outfit.

However, an EastEnders rep told The Sun online: "In that scene Lauren was looking after Olly - one baby, one outfit."

Friday's episode also saw odd couple the Cokers finally leave after Pam's good deed earlier in the week in reuniting homeless Jay Brown with his best friend Ben Mitchell in a heartwarming episode.

Having watched their grandson Paul's killers plead guilty to murder, they decided to leave Walford for good.

But this wasn't before savagely destroying evil Aunt Babe in one final showdown.

Actress Lin Blakley has previously said that she was ";sad to be leaving" the soap.

She told Digitalspy: “Yes, I am. I’d be silly and telling you a lie if I said I wasn’t. Of course I am, because I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being with Roger [Sloman, who plays Les].

“I’ve enjoyed being Pam and I’ve enjoyed having those two characters together. It’s also lovely to know in my heart that it’s achieved a lot, because the Cokers have got a lot of fans out there. I shall miss that.”

The Cokers are only a few of a long list of characters leaving the square over the next year.

Kellie Bright, who plays Linda Carter, is taking a six-month break from the show to focus on motherhood.

Ellen Thomas, who plays Claudette Hubbard, is also leaving, along with Mitchell sisters Ronnie and Roxie,  Samantha Womack and Rita Simons.
