Emotional EastEnders sees Pam and Les Coker leave Walford after DESTROYING evil Aunt Babe in final showdown
The Cokers finally got their happy ending after leaving Albert Square for good, and they finally got to face down blackmailer Babe
PAM and Les Coker finally have achieved something rarely seen on EastEnders – a happy ending.
The cross-dressing funeral director and the flower flogger have had a hellish couple of months with Pam discovering Les’ secret, Babe’s blackmail, the murder of their grandson Paul and the trial of his killers, but it seems now they have finally found happiness.
But despite the emotional goodbye to all their loved ones in Walford, Pam wouldn’t leave without utterly destroying evil Babe one last time.
Cornering her in the Queen Vic’s kitchen, Pam calmly savaged the woman who put her through hell.
“We’re leaving to spend what’s going to be a very happy and loving retirement together and I just wanted to say I feel sorry for you because you’ll never have what Les and I have,” she said.
“You’re a very sad, lonely and bitter old woman and I pity you.”
Facing off against Babe, Pam laughed in her face and left Babe sobbing in the kitchen as she realised how alone and sad she really was.
But while Pam said goodbye to Walford, she welcomed her husband’s female alter-ego with a touching gift for Les.
Presenting him with some snakeskin luggage, she accepted Christine and said: “When we get to Worthing, I don’t think Christine should be stuck under the bed.
“She should have her own drawer. Until then, she should travel in something nice.”
The beloved couple then had a proper Walford sendoff in the pub, with all their friends and family coming together to wave goodbye.

But Pam couldn’t leave without fixing a few issues in the Square with her loved ones.
Firstly, she convinced Billy and Honey to give Jay Brown a job at the undertakers, and then she pulled off a masterstroke and made Sharon see sense and give him his home back.
But in the most emotional scene, just before she left Walford, she thanked Ben for loving Paul.
